A Stroll Down Memory Lane...........

I think I posted this picture last year, but twenty years ago yesterday, Cary and I went on our very first date. Typing the words TWENTY YEARS makes me feel a little old. I don't actually feel old, but looking at the words TWENTY YEARS has made me step back a bit and think "Wow....where has the time gone?!"

On our first date, we went to the Football Homecoming Dance. I was a cheerleader and he played football. Looking at that picture, I don't know what's worse....the birds nest on top of my head or the gray "matching" shoes that Cary is wearing!

Not a whole lat has changed since then....our lives still revolve around football! Ha! Back then, I used to worry about winning and if my make-up and hair would get "too sweaty" during the game to still look cute at the dance. Ha...again! Now, I worry about winning and stats and getting defensive shut outs.

My girls think this picture is funny. Sophi always asks me what is wrong with my hair?!?!?!
